Avon Ri, Co. Wicklow
For centuries, the hill where Avon Rí is now located looked out over a valley created by the Liffey and King's River. We have taken our name from the latter, and Avon Rí now looks out of the Blessington Lakes – a reservoir created in 1944 by the damming and flooding of the valley. We found it to be such a beautiful setting and motivating location we decided to create something special. A resort of the highest standards that would encourage people to visit the area and stay a while to enjoy the landscape, partake in activities on the lake and in the countryside, and then be able to relax afterwards in a welcoming, familiar atmosphere.

Our houses are designed to make you feel more at home than you ever can in a hotel – free to 'make yourself at home' in spacious, light-filled rooms, perfect for family and friends to really enjoy a carefree break. On the other hand, our clubhouse aims to bring you all the self-contained pampering of a five-star hotel: fine restaurant, coffee bar, gym, pool, Jacuzzi (looking out over the lake), sauna, steam room.

On top of all this, we can offer you the chance to participate in a wide range of sports and outdoor pursuits, supervised by a professional team to ensure you are safe and even learning! From tennis to clay pigeon shooting, from canoeing to sailing, from hiking to mountain biking – we'd be delighted to introduce you to something new or let you push yourself further in something familiar.

Team building event days are something we pride ourselves in offering the client a challenging but fun day out. Team Tasks can be applied to all our activities making the day both fun and functional, exciting and productive, all lead by a qualified team of instructors. Event days are tailor made to suit clients requirements.

HOW TO GET TO DALKEY
Dalkey is well served by bus and rail. The DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) service stops in Dalkey in the train station on Railway Road. You can also reach Dalkey by taking the number 59 bus from Dun Laoghaire. Aircoach provides a service to and from Dublin Airport, as does the Patton Flyer. Here you can stroll down Vico Road and see the spectacular views of Killiney Bay and Dalkey Island. It is a 30-40 minute walk to Dalkey village, but it is worth it.
