German Food Festival - 24th July
The German Food Festival was a huge success at the Dalkey Farmers Market in the Tram Yard. The Irish Farmers Market ran the special Market on the Saturday featuring German Stalls.
Harcourt Street Market - Continues at Great rate
The Harcourt Street market is now full of stalls and is continuing to be very successful. We are open every Thursday, and continue to be very successful.
Dalkey Book Fair - Fantastic Success
The Dalkey Book Fair which which ran over 2 days in mid June was a fantastic success. The first day went into the night with chat, foods and music. With around 50 stalls as well as book stalls and entertainment, it was well supported by local traders, writers and the local population. Sure to be repeated next year.
Midlands County & Western Festival
We are holding a festival in the Midlands on the August Bank Holiday Weekend and are looking for interested Stall holders both for food and crafts. Any stalls interested should contact the office or Sean at 087 6115016 as soon as possible
Dalkey Market moving to be the second most Popular Market in Dublin, behind Howth
The market continues to be very interesting and active with lots of locals visiting and enjoying the market, which now has over 26 stalls per week. It is already becoming a meeting point to have a cup of coffee and a chat. It is mainly indoors, but also has outdoor space. Based in the old Railway Yard in Dalkey, it has easy car parking and a very active town. It is open every Saturday. It is important for stalls to get involved now to get your space. Russborough House Market - 20th June
Russborough is hosting the Specialist and shrub Fair on the 20th, and the farmers Market are supporting this large event with a full market. All stall holders should contact Sean asap as spaces will be limited. There will already be 40 stalls involved in the fair to do with flowers and plants, so as you can see this is big!.
Blessington Lakes Avon-Ri Sporting Day
The Sports Facilities at Avon-Ri are hosting a large special event on July 17th and the Farmers Markets are providing a range of stalls including Foods and crafts. Any stall holders interested should contact us as soon as possible
Glendalough - Laragh Green Market
A new market opened last Sunday 25th April, 2010. There is an initial limit of 7 stalls, so anyone interested must book with Sean before hand. It is hoped that we can expand on this number and provide a market every Sunday. Glendalough is the second busiest tourist site in Ireland. Russborough Market has over 4000 people attending. Next Market Sunday 7th December 2008.
Russborough's Harvest Celebration market which opened on the 7th October next exceeded our expectations with over 4000 people attending on a wonderful sunny day. This market proved exceptional and all the stalls benefitted from being there. The next market is now planned for 4th November, with another one before Christmas.
